You Need God’s Wisdom to Deal With Some Fans – Actress Animashaun Bukola

Nollywood actress and producer, Animashaun Bukola opens up to mycelebrityandi.com on her career and challenges.

Tell us about yourself and where you’re from?

My names are Animashaun Bukola Iqmat, I’m an actress and a movie producer. I grew up in Ibadan.

I would describe myself as a strong, confident and a go-getter. I’m also easy going, laid back, accommodating, fun and adventurous.

Foray into entertainment?

The passion… I’ve always wanted to be a movie star since my primary school days, and now we’re here.. Allihamdulilai. Being an actress and a movie producer is not easy, and it takes a lot of my time. Being able to do both is a blessing from God and I do not take it for granted. Though it’s catastrophic, but we’re gratifying and glamorize it.

What are you working on at the moment?

well am working on a new project Titled ‘Ile Wura’.

What you will never wear or use?

My kind of outfit is simple and classic, but most importantly, I love wearing what I’m comfortable in. If putting on $1,000 worth of gown and you’re not comfortable in it, Well, to me it makes no sense. I dress as the occasion demands and wear whatever I feel comfortable in.

A lot of entertainers are posing nude lately, Can you pose nude?

No way … lol

Most embarrassing moment?

Awwww years back I was talking to one of my uncle on the phone, and I wanted to ask for his friend instead of me to ask the proper way, I just asked ” How about that you FAT friend” not knowing that the phone was on speaker and the next voice I heard was his friend’s voice saying “I’m right here oooo” that was really awkward I had to drop the call immediately.

Your take on abuse and molestation?

Well, abuse and molestation is a rampant thing in the entertainment industry. From the marketers to artists or producers to artists. It’s very bad. Though I’ve never experience such, but I have heard a few.

Coping with advances from Male fans?

I try to handle situations. Sometimes you need God’s wisdom to deal with some fans.

Most challenging role?

My most challenging role was ‘Awon Eta Oko’. It was very challenging because I wasn’t use to it and that what’s my first time playing that kind of role…lol.
