Chelsea are in talks with Trabzonpor for Ugurcan Cakir.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has doubts about Kepa Arrizabalaga and Cakir, reports Fanatik, is being lined up his replacement.
Cakir, 24, has also been linked with Liverpool and Tottenham this season.
On the interest, he stated: “I go to one side every day. It is nice to be remembered and followed by great teams, but I have goals in Trabzonspor and I want to achieve these goals.”
However, Trabzonspor legend Lemi Celik has revealed Cakir is now a step away from joining Chelsea.
“Ugurcan Cakir wants Chelsea,” he said.
“Chelsea will decide to pay the fee Trabzonspor wants. Chelsea are the most enthusiastic team about the transfer of Ugurcan Cakır at the moment.
“Ugurcan is good enough to play for Chelsea because he is actively involved in the national team squad.
