As the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC continues to collate the 2019 election results, PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar has won in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). INEC Declares Rochas Okorocha Winner of Imo West Senatorial Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Imo State Governor Rochas Okorochathe winner of the Imo West senatorial election. The Returning officer,Francis Ibeawuchi, who announced the results at the collation center in Orlu Local Government Area, declared Okorocha the senator elect of the district. Okorocha of the All Progressives Congress polled a total of 97,762 votes to defeat his two major contenders. Woman Stabbed in The Face at Polling Unit in Osun

A woman has been stabbed in the face at polling unit during an altercation with another woman while they waited to cast their votes in Osun state According to a report by hit.ng, the incident took place at the Lagere area of Ile-Ife in Osun. The lady whose name could not be verified at the time was stabbed by another voter while on the queue. A fight had ensued over who was and who wasn’t on the said queue. According to witnesses present at the scene of the incident, the victim was stabbed in the face with a bottle.
