President Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has emerged victorious in Osun State, beating his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar. The results of the presidential election in Osun State was announced by Toyin Ogundipe, a professor and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos. The results show that Buhari beat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by a very close margin to win the state.
