According to a report by Fox7, a jury has found Chimene Onyeri guilty on all 17 charges he was facing including the attempted capital murder of Travis County Judge, Julie Kocurek in Houston. The verdict was reached today after a month long federal trial. Onyeri, 30, had been accused of running a racketeering enterprise and shooting Judge Kocurek. He will be sentenced August 17 by U.S. Judge Lee Yeakel. He faces up to life in prison without parole for the judge’s shooting. A Court in Manhattan on Thursday sentenced Abdullahi Shuaibu, 53, who worked at the UN in 2013,  to two years in prison after an exhaustive plea agreement with the court. It was a stunning defeat for the prosecutor who had asked that Shuaibu be sentenced to five years under the indictment. Tin Can Island Port Witnesses 150% Growth In Exportation Of Agric Products

A total of 161,285.72 metric tonnes of agricultural products were exported through Tin Can Island Port in 2017, representing over 150 per cent increase from the 55,000 metric tonnes processed through the port in 2016. The Area Controller, Nigeria Customs Service, Tin Can Island Port Command, Yusuf Bashar, who disclosed this, said that cocoa topped the list of commodities exported through the port last year. Bashar listed other exported commodities to include pepper, soybean, rubber, milk, frozen shrimps, hibiscus flowers and ginger, among others. According to him, cocoa bean, which was the highest exported agricultural product through the port last year, recorded 33,294 metric tonnes followed by sesame seed and rubber, which recorded 15,189.78 and 15,072.84 metric tonnes, respectively. ...
