Overcrowded Burial: Thousands Bid Emir Of Zazzau Farewell ( Video)

After 45 years on the throne, light dimmed yesterday for Emir Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris, who passed on at 84. Thousands of people converged on the palace at Zaria to pay their last respects as the remains of perhaps, the longest serving emir, were interred beside the tomb of some of the past emirs. Prayers for the repose of the soul of the 18th Emir of Zazzau, were attended by Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, who led the presidential delegation. Triplets And Mum Detained In Benue Hospital Over Unpaid N77,600 Bills

The happiness of a mother of triplets have been cut short, after she was reportedly detained in a General hospital in Benue State, over her unpaid medical bills two weeks after the children were delivered. Facebook user Ukan Kurugh, disclosed that the couple Mr and Mrs Dennis Anongo need the sum of N77,600 to pay the medical bills, so they can take their children home. Hoodlums Who Robbed Man Of His Wedding Ring Worth N250K,Other Items Arested

Armed bandits who allegedly robbed a man of his valuables including a wedding ring worth N250,000 while driving in Warri, Delta state have been arrested. The suspects were intercepted by an Army joint patrol team stationed at Jamata Bridge Lokoja, Kogi state after dispossessing their victim. Read the press release below; On Sunday, 19/2/2017 at about 1945hrs, one Rolland Osangbagumi (m) was driving a Black Toyota Prado Jeep along CAC, off Orhwomhwon road, Warri when three armed men blocked him and dispossessed him of his vehicle.
