A glamorous fitness fanatic has been charged by police for her alleged role in helping to coordinate a 'dial-a-dealer' drug service. Sarah Rutherford, 29, originally from Bridgewater, in the United Kingdom, was arrested at a home in Greenacre, in Sydney's south west on Thursday by detectives from the Drug and Firearms Squad, as part of an investigation into illicit drug supply across the city. Protesters have clashed with police outside a pro-Donald Trump rally in Washington DC, as tens of thousands of people prepare to take to the streets to oppose his presidency. Demonstrators had gathered outside the National Press Club on Thursday night to oppose a group of Trump supporters who were staging a "DeploraBall", an event named after Hillary Clinton branded them a "basket of deplorables" during the election. Tower Bridge Draped With Anti-Trump Banner

A banner reading "Build Bridges Not Walls" has been draped across London's Tower Bridge as part of a series of events across the world aimed at expressing displeasure at Donald Trump. Trump, who will be sworn in as the 45th president of the US on Friday, faces protests in Washington during his inauguration, and in cities from Toronto to Sydney, Addis Ababa and Dublin over his politics, which critics say are divisive and dangerous. The protest in London was organised by the campaign group also called "Bridges not Walls", in reference to Trump's pledge to build a wall on the Mexican border. 6.7 Earthquake Strikes Off Solomon Islands

A 6.7 magnitude earthquake has struck off the South Pacific nation of the Solomon Islands at a depth of 33 kms, the US Geological Survey says. There was no tsunami warning issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii. Australia's Bureau of Meteorology also tweeted that there was no tsunami threat to Australia.

At least four people have been killed after gunmen opened fire at government offices in the Mexican beach resort of Cancun, a day after at least five people died in a shooting at a nearby music festival. Aussie Ski Family Found In Japan

An Australian woman and her family who went missing at a popular Japanese ski field survived a night in the wild as they built a cave to shelter from treacherous conditions. The woman, believed to be aged in her 50s, and three sons were reported missing in Nozawa Onsen in heavy snow conditions after they raised the alarm on Facebook on Monday afternoon.
