Zlatan Ibrahimovic Trolls England Football Fans In Most Brutal Way Possible

He would win the Puskas Award that year for his remarkable athleticism and he left England stunned with the piece of skill. Sweden Records Its Highest Number Of COVID-19 New Cases

Sweden’s top coronavirus official has questioned the scientific basis of other EU countries’ strict coronavirus lockdowns, as Germany said its number of cases needed to fall from about 2,000 to a few hundred a day before it could ease restrictions further, writes Jon Henley, the Guardian’s Europe correspondent. As several European countries continued to cautiously lift their lockdowns, sending children back to school and reopening some shops and businesses, Sweden’s chief epidemiologist, Anders Tegnell, said the original measures looked difficult to justify. Sweden has favoured civic responsibility over mandatory rules, closing senior high schools and banning gatherings of more than 50 people, but asking rather than ordering people to avoid non-essential travel, work from home an...

This way, you are wasting his time and financially damaging the club too, because it makes it look as if Insigne is a worse player than he really is. “You can’t have a Coach ...

Italy Must Choose Between 4-2-4 And 3-4-3 Against Sweden

The first leg ended 1-0 in Solna on Friday evening, decided by a deflected Jakob Johansson effort, and the return is at San Siro on Monday at 19.45 GMT. Coach Giampiero Ventura shelved his usual 4-2-4 approach for an Antonio Conte-style 3-5-2 in Sweden, but it did not pay off. Changes are necessary anyway tomorrow, because Marco Verratti is suspended, so there could well be a move to 3-4-3. This all depends on whether the BBC defence – Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini – can play two games in three days, especially after the Milan man fractured his nose on the end of Ola Toivonen’s elbow. If the 3-4-3 is to be enacted, then Jorginho or Marco Parolo would be in midfield with Daniele De Rossi or Inter’s Roberto Gagliardini, as the Roma captain seemed tired in Solna....

Sweden International Albin Ekdal ‘Expected Stronger Italy’

A deflected Jakob Johansson effort gave the Swedes a 1-0 victory in Solna on Friday evening, and the decider is in Milan on Monday at 19.45 GMT. “We are certainly not the favourites to qualify, as we only won 1-0 and Italy will be a different team at San Siro,” Ekdal told TMW Radio. “The Azzurri didn’t create very much against us and to be honest I expected Italy to be stronger, but everything could change on Monday. “Our opponents will play with more aggression, but we are solid in defence. The atmosphere of the Friends Arena was decisive for us, just as San Siro will lift Italy. “Having said that, I know what it’s like to score in this stadium.” Ekdal famously bagged a hat-trick when Cagliari earned a shock 4-1 victory here against Inter in September 2014, but has since moved on to ...

Barzagli Feels Italy ‘Tension, As There Is So Much At Stake’

The first leg ended 1-0 in Solna with a Jakob Johansson shot deflected off Daniele De Rossi. This means the Azzurri must win 2-0 at San Siro to avoid missing their first World Cup since 1958. “These will be days of tension, as there is so much at stake,” Barzagli told Sky Sport Italia. “We are trailing and consequently it all depends on us. The game can be overturned with determination and a packed San Siro pushing us on.” The Juventus defender did not deny the defeat in Sweden was desperately disappointing. “We are struggling right now. It was an ugly game, there were a lot of fouls and we were a bit unlucky too. But we are Italy and we must get back on our feet.”

Italy Will Reportedly Return To A 3-5-2 Formation Against Sweden

The Azzurri face the Scandinavian nation on Friday and Monday, in a double-header to determine whether they’ll be present in Russia next summer. According to calciomercato.com, CT Giampiero Ventura will fall back on the 3-5-2 formation used by his predecessor Antonio Conte, rather than the 4-2-4 he’s deployed in recent matches. That will see the famous ‘BBC’ defence of Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini reunited in front of Gianluigi Buffon. Those four formed the basis of the Juventus defence for their sixth consecutive Scudetti, and have 411 caps between them. Simone Zaza is expected to start on his return to the squad, partnering Lazio striker Ciro Immobile up-front with Andrea Belotti still recovering from injury. It’s still not clear who will start in midfield...

Andersson: Sweden Can Beat Any Team In The world

Qualifying for the play-offs by edging out the Netherlands, bronze medallists in 2014 and finalists in 2010, was an impressive feat in itself. Yet if Andersson’s words suggest a sense of contentment, and of settling for having got this far, think again. Despite the draw for the play-offs having been as tough on Sweden as it was for the group stage, the Sweden coach insists that his side are well capable of slaying another giant. The colossus this time is Italy: four-time world champions and a team that has been at every World Cup save one – coincidentally, the 1958 finals in Sweden. “We had the toughest qualification group against the Netherlands and France and we played some really good games,” said Andersson. “If we can play at that level, we can beat any team in the world - including ...

Raiola Insists Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn’t Leave Juventus Due To Calciopoli

The Swedish striker joined the Bianconeri from Ajax in 2004, but following their demotion to Serie B in the Calciopoli scandal, he made the switch to the Beneamata. “When Zlatan left Juventus, he’d already been prepared for a year,” Raiola insisted, speaking to Expressen. “It wasn’t because of the scandal, it was nothing to do with that, I had already arranged the deal. “I felt it was time to move to Inter, and in my opinion Zlatan was the ideal. He went to Inter to write history. “He didn’t like the idea of going to Inter at first. Then he was irritated because he knew I was right. “At the end of the day though he does what he wants. No animal in the world; elephant, weapons or bombs can make him do something he doesn’t want to do. “After Barcelona I knew he had to go back to Milan,...

World Food Day: Experts Suggest Agricultural Sector Reform

As the World marks the 2017 World Food Day, experts have proposed the urgent reform of Nigeria’s agricultural sector to boost food production and rural development. They made the suggestion in separate interviews in Ibadan on Monday. Prof. James Adediran, the Executive Director, Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T), Ibadan, said that farmers, women and youths in agriculture should be given the needed support via capacity building. He said that they should also be assisted through the provision of farm machinery to enable them to produce large quantities of agricultural produce, while empowering all the participants in the agricultural value chain. Adediran stressed the need for the rehabilitation of moribund farm settlements in some states, adding that go...
