Taraba State NLC Chairman, Peter Gambo is Dead

The chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Taraba State, Comrade Peter Gambo, has died. Late Gambo died at the Taraba State Specialist Hospital Jalingo after a brief illness today Wednesday, July 15. The state commissioner of health Dr Innocent Vakkai who confirmed his death, said Gambo died of diabetes and not COVID-19 as some persons have speculated. He said that though Gambo had been on admission at the state’s Specialist hospital Jalingo, he was tested of COVID-19 and his result came back negative. Man’s Body Found in a Bush with his Legs and Hands Tied

The corpse of an unknown man has been found in a bush around C to C junction Agbo Ngrinze at Okigwe express road, Amichi, Anambra State. It is speculated that the deceased whose hands and legs were found tied, struggled with those who murdered him. Amadou Gon Coulibaly, Ivory Coast’s prime minister and the ruling party’s candidate for the next presidential election, has died at the age of 61. About 1,089 Nigerian asylum seekers who arrived Netherlands between last year and January this year are reportedly missing, raising serious concern in the country. The National Research Council (NRC) Handelsblad which collaborated with Lost in Europe in its June 2020 report, said the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) identified a significant number of the cases. It was further learnt that there's been a upsurge in the number of Nigerians seeking asylum in The Netherlands, with 2,461 persons recorded in 2019. While 961 of them went missing in 2019, 128 could not be accounted for in January 2020. 12 year-old Boy Commits Suicide in Imo

A 12-year-old Primary 6 pupil has been confirmed dead after allegedly hanging himself with a rope on an Indian bamboo tree. The boy has been identified as  Kasarachi Odurukwe and it was gathered that the sad incident occurred at  Agboala Ishiala Umudi autonomous community in Nkwerre council area of Imo State.
