  Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane, has picked Roberto Firmino as his “favourite team-mate” at the club. Both players and Mohammed Salah have formed a fearsome front three at Anfield for a few seasons. Although they are stuck in a bad run of form at the moment, Mane remains a big fan of Firmino, who believes does not get the credit he deserves. On his relationship with Firmino, Senegalese star, Mane told ESPN Brasil: “I think Brazil are just lucky to have Firmino. “I’d love to… I always say ‘Bobby, you have to change your nationality and come to Senegal’, which for me would be a dream. “I just love him. The Super Eagles dropped one place in February’s FIFA ranking released on Thursday morning. The three-time African champions amassed 1474 points to remain as the fifth-best team in Africa behind Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. Nigeria’s last international fixture was their double-header Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone in November 2020 which ended 4-4 and 0-0 respectively. Senegal Reports 104 COVID-19 Cases, Mali 19

Ministry of Health and Social Action in Senegal announced Wednesday 104 new cases of COVID-19. It was the first time the daily increase exceeded 100. Senegalese Director General of Public Health Doctor Marie Khemesse Ngom Ndiaye said Senegal carried out 1,182 tests in the past 24 hours. Out of them 104 samples tested positive, made up of 100 follow-up contact cases and four community transmission cases. According to her, in the last 24 hours, 23 patients were discharged. Six patients are in intensive care units of two hospitals in Dakar. One patient also died Tuesday night bringing the total death toll to 12.
