Lagos state compensates families of slain cops’ with N10million each

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu presented a cheque of N10 million each to families of the six police officers killed in Lagos State in the violence that followed the End SARS protests. Sanwo-Olu presented the cheques on Thursday, Dec 3, in fulfilment of his administration’s pledge made during an earlier meeting with police officers. The State Minister for Education, Mr. Emeka Nwajiuba, has said that Nigerian students on scholarship abroad have been paid through their various embassies. Nwajiuba disclosed this on Monday at the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 daily news briefing in Abuja. According to him, the money had gotten to the embassies in Russian, the United Kingdom (UK), and other countries. Management of Greensprings School, Lagos, has urged parents and guardians, who want to turn their children’s football dream to a reality to register them for the yearly Greensprings/Kanu Football Camp.
