Every now and then we just enjoy coming up with highfalutin theories out of the blues and everyone begins to recycle and regurgitate the mantra. Once upon a time, TRUE FEDERALISM was the swansong. Half, if not most, of those shouting the phrase had little or no idea of what it meant. It seems we just love to hear the cacophony of our own voices and prefer to join whatever is in season or in vogue. I vividly recollect how a SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE became the only panacea for a united Nigeria after the satanic annulment of the June 12, 1993, presidential election. If you asked the exponents of that discord...

Fani-Kayode: If Anything Happens To Buhari, ‘Osinbajo Will Take Over’ And ‘Nothing Will Happen   JUNAID MOHAMMED'S BUNKUM AND THE FINAL BATTLE FOR NIGERIA'S INDEPENDENCE "If anything happens to Buhari the north will insist on being in power till 2027.....those who see Buhari as their representative and are not being treated justly are going to claim their own rights and the only way you are going to resolve the issue is that after Buhari’s administration, you have it zoned to the north for eight to 10 years"- Dr. Junaid Mohammed, Punch Newspaper, 14th May 2017. This is bunkum! There is no such thing as "insisting" on anything in a democratic setting. Dr. Junaid Mohammed is out of touch with reality and he speaks only for the lunatic ultra-conservative wing of the core nor...

FFK: El-Rufai Didn’t Oppose Muslim-Muslim APC Ticket, Wanted Fashola Not Tinubu

Femi Fani-Kayode has revealed more about the Muslim-Muslim ticket that got Tinubu disqualified as Buhari's VP as alleged here: Tinubu stated that Saraki, El-Rufai and other stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party, who defected to the APC in the build-up to the 2015 elections, instigated Buhari and some APC chieftains not to pick him as the would-be Vice-President. Responding to the above allegation, FFK wrote: The Muslim/Muslim ticket was their plan all along and I was the first to expose and oppose it when I was in APC. That is w...

Femi Fani-Kayode: “Buhari Is Looking Like Gollum, Behaving Like A Goblin”

THE AILING PRESIDENT AND THE COMING CONFLAGRATION IN NIGERIA If the United Kingdom’s Foreign Minister, Boris Johnson, can describe the Leader of the Opposition Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, as a “mutton-headed old mugwump” and an “Islington herbivore” how on earth should we describe our very own President Muhammadu Buhari in Nigeria? As each day passes he looks more and more like the colorful creature called Gollum in J.R. Tolkien’s ‘Lord of the Rings’ and behaves more and more like the goblins and orcs in that same book. This is a man who came back from the United Kingdom as an ailing and fading ghost and who, despite all entreaties and pleas from men and women of goodwill, has refused to resign. Since he came back he has not been seen in any public function, apart from the u...
