Trump on the Electoral Certification: “Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th. Only 3 Percent Of Americans Believe Trump Beat Biden

Only 3% of Americans believe President Trump won the 3 November election, according to a new Reuters/IPSOS poll. In contrast, nearly 80% of Americans, including more than half of Republicans, recognize President-elect Joe Biden as the winner. This was after most media organisations called the race for the Democrat based on his leads in critical battleground states. Just 5% said they do not know the winner. Biden – who needed 270 Electoral College votes to win – had 279 of those votes to 214 for Trump with results in three states not yet complete, according to Edison Research. In the popular vote, Biden got 76.3 million, or 50.7% of the total, to 71.6 million, or 47.6%, for Trump. The Reuters/Ipsos national opinion survey, which ran from Saturday afternoon to Tuesday...

‘What a spectacle!’: Iran Supreme Leader mocks US democracy amid election uncertainty

Iran’s supreme leader has mocked the U.S presidential election and democracy, citing President Trump’s non-evident claim of voter fraud. Recall that President Trump caused a disquiet among even leaders of his own Republican Party by flatly alleging fraud, while his Democratic challenger Joe Biden's campaign team has accused the incumbent of seeking to deny the electoral rights of tens of thousands of postal voters. The Iranian Supreme leader who described the election as a "spectacle" which will be “interesting to watch" in a tweet shared on Wednesday, added that it has exposed the reality of US democracy. He also tweeted;   “What a spectacle! “One says this is the most fraudulent election in US history. Who says that? The president who is currently in office. “...

President Trump Develops Fever, Flown To Walter Reed Hospital

"I think I'm doing very well": President Trump recorded a video message before being flown to hospital. US President Donald Trump has been flown to hospital less than 24 hours after testing positive for coronavirus. The White House said the decision to transport him to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center was taken "out of an abundance of caution". Mr Trump - who had a fever - said early on Friday he and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive for Covid-19. The White House said he was feeling "fatigued but in good spirits" and was experiencing mild symptoms. The news comes just over a month before presidential elections, where he will face Democratic challenger Joe Biden. How did the president look on Friday? Wearing a mask and suit, Mr Trump walked out ...

Jeff Sessions Loses Alabama GOP Senate Seat To Tommy Tuberville

Jeff Sessions will not regain his old Alabama U.S. Senate seat this year. The former U.S. attorney general has lost to Tommy Tuberville, a first-time political candidate and former college football coach, in the state's Republican runoff election for the seat, The Associated Press projects. Tuberville — who was endorsed by President Trump in the GOP matchup — edged ahead of Sessions in Alabama's state primary in March but failed to secure a majority of the vote, setting up the runoff on Tuesday. The former Auburn University football coach will now face Democratic incumbent Sen. Doug Jones in November. Sessions was an early endorser of Trump's presidential bid and then served as the president's attorney general until he was ousted in the fall of 2018. Sessions faced prolonged criticism...

“I Didn’t Know That He Would Be So Sensitive” – Pelosi Defends Calling Trump “Morbidly Obese”

While appearing on MSNBC with Nicolle Wallace, US House of Reps Speaker, Nancy Pelosi defended calling President Trump “morbidly obese.” The Hill reports Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday defended her comment claiming that President Trump could be at greater risk of complications from taking an unproven coronavirus treatment because he is “morbidly obese,” adding that she didn’t anticipate he would be “so sensitive” about his appearance. “I didn’t know that he would be so sensitive. He’s always talking about other people’s … weight, their pounds,” Pelosi said during an interview Tuesday with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace. “I think he should recognize that his words weigh a ton. President Trump Describes Having Highest COVID-19 Cases As A ‘Badge Of Honour’

The US President told reporters at a cabinet meeting that the high number of cases in the US – far higher than any other country – is a “badge of honour”, because it means the US is testing the most. Trump told reporters: “You know when you say that we lead in cases, that’s because we have more testing than anybody else.” He said he looks at the number “in a certain respect, as being a good thing because it means our testing is much better.” The US has 1,527,895 cases. The country with the next-highest number of cases is Russia, with 299,941. Trump added: “So I view it as a badge of honour. Really, it’s a badge of honour. It’s a great tribute to the testing and all of the work that a lot of professionals have done.” The US also has the highest number of deaths worldwide,...

President Trump Says He’s Surprised By Barr’s Remarks About Obama And Biden

Trump said today that he’s surprised by Barr’s comments that Obama and Biden wouldn’t be criminally investigated, when asked about it as his roundtable meeting. Trump was in the roundtable meeting when the comments were made by Barr, so as he notes, he hadn’t yet heard them firsthand. Even so Trump said he was surprised to learn of Barr’s comments, noting that he believes Obama and Biden knew what was being done to him and were participants. He said it seems pretty serious, but doesn’t know with respect to them whether it was criminal. Trump did point out the double standard though, saying that he guarantees they’d be going after him if he’d done something like that. But it wasn’t a ‘double standard’ attack on Barr. Rather Trump was just pointing out generally what he believes...

The Dems are looking for political dirt on every corner to hammer President Trump and the GOP during the upcoming election – they claim they want answers but we all know the game and President Trump will simply not allow them to play it. Pelosi and Maxine will be helpless to do anything as they have limited power to compel Trump and if they try to play games with future bailout packages the American people will send them a brutal message in November. Trump Claims Disinfectant ‘Injection’ Idea Was Sarcasm, After Receiving Backlash

The president offered his idea for a cure in the White House briefing room Thursday after a presentation that mentioned disinfectants can kill the novel coronavirus on surfaces and in the air. “I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute,” Trump said during Thursday’s coronavirus press briefing. “And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning? In overruling his generals and civilian advisers, Trump fulfilled his frequently expressed desire to bring home American forces from a messy foreign entanglement. But his decision, conveyed via Twitter on Wednesday, plunges the administration’s Middle East strategy into disarray, rattling allies like Britain and Israel and forsaking Syria’s ethnic Kurds, who have been faithful partners in fighting the Islamic State.   The abrupt, chaotic nature of the move and the opposition it immediately provoked on Capitol Hill and beyond raised questions about how ...
