Colchester explain sending Martell Taylor-Crossdale back to Fulham after one game

Young striker Martell Taylor-Crossdale has returned to parent club Fulham after making just one appearance on loan at Colchester. The 20-year-old forward joined the U's in September on a season-long loan, but has left the club having only featured in an EFL Trophy game at Portsmouth. We Will Appeal Judgement On Deregistration Of Parties – INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will proceed to the supreme court for a final judgement on whether it has the powers to deregister political parties. INEC said it will seek the verdict of the apex court over a judgement of the court of appeal that voided its deregisteration of 22 political parties. Though the court upheld the power of INEC to deregister parties in line with section 225 of the constitution, it held that INEC needed to prove that it complied with the procedure outlined. About two weeks ago, the same court had in the case of National Unity Party upheld and validated the power of INEC to deregister the parties. ASUU Strike To Continue as Meeting With FG Ends in Deadlock

The lingering strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU will continue as the meeting between the leadership of the academic union and the Federal government ended in a deadlock today December 4th. The meeting which held at the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu's office, failed to see both parties reach an agreement. The Union began their strike action on November 5th to demand better funding for universities and alleged plans by the Federal government to increase student fees.
