Coronavirus: State House coverage restricted to 13 media houses by Presidency

Coverageof the state house has been restricted to only 13 media houses as confirmed in a statement released by the Director of Information at the State House, Mr Attah Esa. The Presidency maintained that it scaled down the number of media house covering meetings at the villa in compliance with the “social distancing” rule and ban on public gathering of more than 50 people. The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) says it will prosecute politicians and contractors who diverted funds for Constituency Projects across the country. Chairman of the commission, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye made this known on Tuesday at the launch of ”Constituency Projects Tracking Group” in Abuja. Police kills Suspected Armed Robbery Kingpin in Katsina

A suspected armed robbery kingpin has been killed by the Katsina State Police Command. The suspect was identified as Kane Mohammed alias ‘Dan mai-keke.’ This was contained in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Gambo Isa, and made available to NAN on Sunday in Katsina. Isa said that the development occurred on Jan. 4 at old market area, a notorious criminal’s hideout in Bakori Local Government Area when the police were on patrol.
