Veteran Nigerian TV and film producer, Mo Abudu has partnered with Netflix to create features from western Africa as part of its continued expansion into Africa. The American media streaming service and producer, Netflix, partnered with Mo Abudu to create new content from the west African nation to create two original series as well as multiple Netflix-branded films. Business executive, Tonye Cole narrated an incident he witnessed on a plane between renowned writer Wole Soyinka and a Nigerian man. Tonye Cole said Mr Wole Soyinka got on the plane and took the window seat. When the young man assigned the seat boarded, he insisted Mr Soyinka leaves his seat. The film festival was a double celebration with Ebonylife TV celebrating its fourth year anniversary. After a couple of weeks of shooting in the ‘Jewel of the Middle East’, The Wedding Party 2 is now in post-production, with many weeks ahead of editing footage, sound and special effects, before the film can be screened at its first festival. Former military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida, has revealed reasons he annulled the June 12, 1993 Presidential election which Bashorun MKO Abiola, was adjudged the winner.
