Chelsea delighted as Coutinho WANTS Blues move

Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho WANTS to join Chelsea this summer. Sport says talks between Chelsea and Barca have already kicked off over a fee for the Brazil international, who is in full approval of the move. Chelsea first made their move after learning Bayern Munich would not be turning Coutinho's loan into a permanent transfer. Barca's initial asking price put to the Blues was for €90m - however, Chelsea are insisting that is too steep. The Londoners believe they hold a double advantage in negotiations, knowing Coutinho wants the move to happen - and also that Barca need to raise cash to help fund their priority transfer target - Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez. A figure closer to €60m would be welcomed by Chelsea chiefs.
