“The Evil One Is The Short Pastor Who Pretends To Be An Angel” – Fani-Kayode

Fani Kayode, a former minister for aviation, has aimed a slight dig at vice president Yemi Osinbajo, by sharing that he disagrees with the World view about Mamman Daura, Abba Kyari and Lawal Daura. He added that he would not describe them as evil because he has known them for over 30 years. Speaking via his Twitter handle, he says rather, Yemi Osinbajo – ‘the short pastor who pretends to be an angel’ is the evil one. His words; I disagree profoundly with the world view of men like Zangon Daura, Mamman Daura, Abba Kyari and Lawal Daura but I would not describe them as evil. I have known them all for over 30 years and I can testify to that. The evil one is the short Pastor who pretends to be an angel. DSS Warns Public Against Dealing With Sacked DG, Daura

The Department of State Services (DSS), in what appears to be a disclaimer, yesterday warned members of the public against dealing with former Director General (DG) of the Service, Lawal Daura. Daura, who was the DG between 2015 and 2018, was sacked by the then acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, for authorising the invasion of the National Assembly by personnel of the DSS last year. The DSS in a statement also cleared the air on the assumption in some quarters that Daura, though dismissed from the service, still wields a lot of influence over the operations of the DSS. It warned that the assumption is not only false, adding that those dealing with him in any capacity do so at their own risk. “The attention of the Department of State Services (DSS) has been drawn to insinuatio...

‘How Lawal Daura Plans To Rig Tomorrow’s Election Using DSS’ – Farooq Kperogi

My source within the DSS just informed me that Lawal Daura, the disgraced former DG of the DSS (who is still in charge of the agency by proxy in spite of being fired) has perfected plans to rig Saturday's election for Buhari with new suspicious postings. (See screenshots of the memo of the postings here). He swapped some State Directors of Security (SDS) in some states yesterday for that purpose and instructed them to manipulate the electoral process in favor of Buhari For instance, Bassey Eteng, who is the DSS' Director of Operations (equivalent to DIG Operations in the police) is going to lead elections operations in Kwara State. (They decided that they must wrestle Kwara State from Saraki in view of his centrality to the Atiku campaign). Eteng is very close to Daura and the cabal ...

The anti-corruption war being waged by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration got a big boost on Tuesday after the removal from office of the former Director General of the Department of State Services, Lawal Daura. Lawal Daura: Another cabal Member Ousted

Lawal  Daura was, up until about noon on Tuesday, the Director-General of the Department of State Services. His kinsman, President Muhammadu Buhari, appointed him into that position on July 2, 2015. Both of them hail from Daura, Katsina State. Daura’s three-year tenure was as controversial as his appointment itself. At inception, many Nigerians opposed his appointment as the head of the nation’s secret service based on the allegation that he was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress. Specifically, he was said to have served as the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation. Despite the opposition to his appointment, that decision was not rescinded. Immediately after he took over, Daura became a leading member of what is known as th...
