An 18-year-old, Ismaeel Abubakar, has been arrested by Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano command for allegedly defiling a 5-year-old girl (name withheld). Abubakar of Kofar Ruwa quarters in Dala Local Government Area was arrested last Friday on the same day the crime was allegedly committed. The Jigawa Government has received a total of 524 Almajiri pupils evacuated by neighbouring Kano State. Receiving the pupils at Gen. Yakubu Gowon NYSC Camp in Dutse, the state Gov.
