The Federal Government has instructed that duration for each church service must not exceed an hour. This was disclosed in a statement by the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Sani Aliyu, while rolling out guidelines for the reopening of worship centres, in a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday. “Churches to open from 5am and close by 8pm. The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has denied having plans to increase petrol price above N145. It stated that the price remains at that level because ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as petrol remains N133.28 per litre.
