Suicide bombing in Iraq kills six and injures over 20 people (Photos)

At least six people have been killed and over 20 others injured in a suicide bombing at a crowded commercial area in Iraq's capital, Baghdad on Thursday, January 21, Iraq officials say. According to Iraqi media, the attacker detonated an explosive belt at a clothing market in Tayaran Square. Minutes later, there were also reports of a second explosion nearby, making it the first time such a type of attack has happened in the city for for over 18months. A bandit attack at Kamaru village of Chawai Chiefdom in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has left no fewer than 3 people dead. It was learnt that the bandits shot the victims after an argument ensued after arriving the compound. At least 5 people lost their lives and 2 were seriously injured in a fatal accident on the Nsukka-Obollo road in Enugu State. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Commander in the state, Mr Ogbonnaya Kalu said the accident occurred on Friday, July 10, at Kpokpo junction, by Micho Link Filling Station.
