Sani Rimo, The Islamic Police Caught In Hotel With Married Woman Is A Kano Hisbah Commander

On Tuesday, MCI reported how a commander of the Islamic police was arrested in a hotel in the Sabon Gari area of the city. Sani Rimo has been identified as the senior official with the Kano State Hisbah Board caught with a married woman in a hotel. Rimo is said to be in charge of arresting beggars and prostitutes in Kano metro area. He was taken into custody after the husband of the woman with whom he allegedly had an affair filed complaints. The Kano State Hisbah has set up a five-man committee to investigate one of its operatives, Sani Rimo, who was allegedly caught with a married woman in a hotel room. The Commander-General of Hisbah, Harun Ibn-Sina, confirmed that the committee was given a 3-day mandate to investigate the matter. “I have set up an investigative committee and given it a 3-day mandate to submit its report.
