Gynaecologist urges women not to remove their pubic hair

A gynaecologist is urging women not to remove their pubic hair. Dr Jen Gunter, author of The Vagina Bible, warns waxing or shaving creates “microscopic trauma” that can lead to infections. While the purpose of pubic hair is somewhat of a mystery, going “au naturel” is thought to protect the skin by acting as a barrier against the outside world. Getting a Brazilian may also reduce sexual pleasure, with pubic hair being connected to nerve endings that might help arousal, Dr Gunter added. Pubic hair “grooming” has almost become the norm, with many blaming the p3rn industry. Scientists from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), asked more than 3,300 women about their downstairs grooming. Of which, 83.8% claimed to wax, shave or epilate their pubic hair, with jus...

The Who Fears Death author shared a link to the article about T.I. and wrote: "My God, I cannot believe that T.I. interview was real. There's more than the headline. Just check the hymen, please, and give me back my results expeditiously.'"

T.I.'s revelation generated outrage and Planned Parenthood weighed in on it by explaining what virginity is and how "it has absolutely nothing to do with your hymen. The reproductive health care provider began their thread, writing: "Idk who needs to hear this but virginity is a made-up social construct, and it has absolutely nothing to do with your hymen." They added: "A virgin is someone who’s never had sex. But “sex” means different things to different people, so “virginity” does too. Many don't care what it means or think it matters. Whatever you believe, the fact is you can’t tell if so...

Fibroid, Rare Contributor To Infertility – Gynaecologist

Dr. Chinedu Agunna, an Abuja-based Gynaecologist, on Wednesday said fibroid does not contribute to infertility in women. Agunna told the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja that fibroids could only be a constraint to infertility if it is located in the womb. He said: “There are various kinds of fibroids: we have fibroids outside the womb, on the walls of the womb and the ones right inside the womb. “For fibroid to be a concern, it has to be the one inside the womb. “The size of the fibroid is also an important factor to look into because some are so little they are called fibroid noodles. “Fibroid noodles are tiny ones that cannot stop a woman from delivering her baby safely.” The gynaecologist said a woman could only be at risk carrying the baby safely inside the womb, when ...

Gynaecologist Reveals Why Ladies Should Ditch Underwear

One gynaecologist has provided a list of thought-provoking reasons to ditch the undergarments. Speaking to Health, gynaecologist Moore explained: "It's not good to always have the lady parts locked up. They need air like all other parts of your body." While there are risks - apart from accidental flashing - associated with going commando, they're outweighed by the benefits. According to Dr Moore, we run the risk of building up heat and sweat in the crotch area by covering it up every day with pants. This is turn increases the risk of a yeast or other type of infection, she says. If your underwear is lace or made of non-breathable material, then this risk is even bigger, as these materials irritate delicate vaginal skin and can cause rashes and allergic reactions.

Baby Born ‘Pregnant’ With His Twin Brother

A baby in India was born “pregnant” with his half-formed twin in a rare case that has astonished the medical fraternity in the country. Radiologist Bhavna Thorat said some mass with the presence of bones was discovered early July in the then foetus’ abdomen during a routine scan of the 19-year-old pregnant mother. “In the post-natal scans, we spotted another half-formed baby with a brain, arm and legs in a foetal sac in the baby’s abdomen. “The mother had conceived twins. “But here a twin got enveloped in the body of another twin, leading to a condition of a host baby and its parasitic twin, who grew up to 13 weeks and then stopped. “This was a rare case of foetus-in-foetus, a congenital anomaly in which a malformed and parasitic foetus grows inside the body of a baby,’’ Tho...

It is better when you are not HPV exposed; you know most virus do not have treatment, they can only be managed. A person can take the vaccine to prevent him/her from having it...
