Elderly couple die on the same day after 71 years of marriage

An elderly couple from Georgia who were together for 71 years have died just 12 hours apart on the same day.   Herbert DeLaigle, 94, and Marilyn Frances DeLaigle, 88, got married in 1948 and died on Friday at a hospital in Waynesboro. According to WRDW Herbert died at 2.20am, and Marilyn Frances died exactly 12 hours later.   The couple met in a Waynesboro cafe back in 1947 where Marilyn was working.  'Frances worked at a little cafe we had in Waynesboro named White Way Cafe. I kept seeing her going in and out, in and out and I had my eyes set on her. A widower identified as Luscious Chiturumani, left people shocked when he was caught having sex with another woman during his wife, Sibongile Mthetwa's funeral service, Hmetro reports. On arrival at the burial, Chiturumani was accompanied by a woman whom he claimed to be his sister and he was accorded full respect as a son-in-law of the family. The two were then given a courtesy room for them to rest as a family and they then retired to bed and woke up to some early morning sex. Burial Of 9 Farmers Killed By Fulani Herdsmen In Benue

Nine persons killed by suspected herdsmen in Akaa village, Logo Local Government Area of Benue State have been laid to rest. The deceased were murdered by suspected herdsmen on May 7th at about 4pm. The Benue State Police Command arrested 8 herdsmen suspected to be culpable with the killing. They would be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded..
