Shoprite Exit Will Help Local Supermarkets To Grow, They Can Go – Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, in his reaction the report on exit of retail giant Shoprite from Nigeria, has said it will provide an opportunity for local supermarkets in the country to grow. In a tweet he shared, Sani stated that the company is free to stay if they intend doing that and if they have decided to leave teh country, then they are also free to go. He wrote on Twitter: If Shoprite wants to stay, they can stay; if they want to go, they can go; it will help local supermarkets to grow.

Former member representing Kaduna central senatorial district in the national assembly, Shehu Sani has come out to mock president Muhammadu Buhari for making a u-turn over his national address earlier scheduled for Monday, 18th May. Speaking via his official Twitter handle, the former lawmaker inferred that the president made the u-turn over perceived anger from the masses. Shehu Sani Condemns SARS Killing Of Footballer

Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the alleged killing of Nigerian footballer, Tiyamu Kazeem, by the police. According to reports, the Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) Assistant Captain, also known as Kaka was killed by a policeman from the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) from the Ogun State Command. The incident occurred Saturday afternoon in Sagamu while he was driving along Sagamu area of the State with one of his teammates, Sanni Abubakar. The SARS officer was said to have stopped the footballer to label him a Yahoo Boy and they insisted on taking him to the nearby police station.
