Wayne Rooney Given Interim Role At Derby After Cocu Dismissal

Phillip Cocu's time in charge of Derby County has come to an end, with Wayne Rooney being part of the coaching team that will take charge at Pride Park on an interim basis. The former England international has been working as a player-coach but could see his responsibilities increase somewhat following this news. Inter Milan Sign Ashley Young From Manchester United On Six Month Contract

Inter Milan have signed former England international Ashley Young from Manchester United on a six-month contract, the Serie A club said. Inter also has an option to extend the deal for Young for a further season and he joins up with former Old Trafford teammates Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez. Young, 34, who has converted to fullback after beginning his career as a winger, was out of contract at United at the end of this season. United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said on Friday that the club was not going to stand in the way of allowing Young to move to the Italian giants. Ashley’s mindset was that he wanted to try a new adventure and he’s approaching 35 now. He’s do...

Terry played over 750 club games in his career, captaining Chelsea to five Premier League titles and a Champions League win. The former England international retired at the end of last season after spending a campaign in the Championship playing for Aston Villa. But, when asked if he has missed playing, Terry told Sky Sports: “Do you know what? I haven’t. Missing the Monday to Friday, I get that, but the pressures of games… “It’s funny because you watch games like the League Cup final, you want to still be playing, but the pressures that surround it, and the pressures I put myself under later on in my career, I probably didn’t enjoy, and that’s why I’m...
