Real Madrid One win Away from Title after Defeating Granada

Real Madrid are one win away from winning their 34th LaLiga title, after a battling 2-1 victory over Granada on Monday. Los Blancos took an early lead through Ferland Mendy, who finished off a solo run with a goal in the 10th minute. It was 2-0 minutes later, after Karim Benzema curled an exquisite strike past Rui Silva. Granada halved the deficit at the start of the second half through Darwin Machis. We were dominant but they had the biggest chance and that’s how it is. “We were lucky in that moment. In the end, Everton defended really well and we were not smart enough to use the space we had,” Klopp told Sky Sports. ...

David Luiz won a header from an angled ball into the box and his effort came back off the post and into a six-yard box scramble. De Gea made an incredible stop from Rudiger to prevent an immediate goal but Ross Barkley, brought on in the dying stages, converted to maintain Chelsea’s unbeaten run.
