Europa League: Ibrahimovic Denied Chance to Face Man Utd

  AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, will sit out their Europa League round-of-16 clash with Manchester United, ESPN reports. Ibrahimovic was substituted during Milan’s 2-1 victory over AS Roma on Sunday, having picked up an abductor muscle injury. Thw Swede will be assessed in 10 days’ time in order to determine the full period required on the sidelines. Aand that will be March 11, the same day Milan play United. Ibrahimovic’s absence comes as he is due to host the annual San Remo music festival, which take places from March 2-6. His commitments were however not due to keep him out of the matches against Udinese (March 3) and Hellas Verona (March 7). However, this injury will keep him out of both matches.

Abuja Plane Crash: Air Force Confirms 7 Personnel Dead, Orders Investigation

  The Nigeria Air Force has confirmed that seven personnel died on board a military aircraft which crashed at Abuja Airport on Sunday. DAILY POST had reported that the military aircraft, King Air 350 crashed on Sunday morning on the runway of Abuja airport. Mother of Four Children Murdered in Lagos

The police in Lagos state is currently investigating the murder of a mother of four, Omotolani Detona, in the Ijaniki area of the state. Omotolani, a charcoal dealer, was murdered by yet to be identified persons in her home on Tuesday January 14th. Her children who had gone to school in the morning, returned to find her with multiple stab wounds and in the pool of her blood. He raised alarm and their neighbors immediately reported the case to the police. Spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana, who confirmed the news to LIB, said a  team of forensic experts have been sent to the home to determine any trace that could help in investigations. Meanwhile her remain has been deposited in the mortuary.
