Chelsea capable of winning the Premier League – Ezeji

The Blues have been the busiest of all English top-flight sides in the summer transfer window Ex-Chelsea striker Victor Ezeji believes the Blues can win the Premier League this season following their plethora of signings in the transfer window. The London side were unable to spend during the last summer window due to a ban by Fifa, which found them guilty of a serious and systemic breach of the rules regarding their dealings with overseas players under the age of 18. It was, however, lifted this January after winning an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sports.

Semenya Loses Appeal Against CAS Ruling Over Testosterone Regulations

Double Olympic 800 metres champion Caster Semenya has lost her appeal to the Swiss Federal Tribunal (SFT) to set aside a 2019 Court of Arbitration (CAS) ruling that female athletes with high natural testosterone levels must take medication to reduce it. But the South African has indicated that she may continue her battle in the European and domestic courts ahead of the Olympics in Tokyo next year, vowing to "fight for human rights". Semenya approached the tribunal in May last year after CAS, sport's highest court, ruled that the regulations of the sport's governing body World Athletics were necessary for athletes with differences in sexual development (DSDs) in races ranging from 400 metres to a mile to ensure fair competition. Premier League holders, Manchester City Could be relegated to League Two if their appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sports fails, according UK Independent’s Miguel Delaney. UEFA banned City from both the Champions League and Europa League on Friday Pep Guardiola’s side was found to have committed “serious breaches” of UEFA’s club licensing and Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. Chelsea have described claims head coach Antonio Conte is forcing striker Diego Costa out of the club as "just nonsense". The 28-year-old's lawyer, Ricardo Cardoso, told Spanish news agency EFE on Thursday that his client intended to 'formally request a transfer' and also threatened Chelsea with legal action.
