I Helped Collins Ezenwa E-Money Kidnap Rich People But He Left Me Poor – Suspect

A suspect, Ifeanyi Asiegbuelam, has narrated how he helped the late billionaire kidnapper, Collins Ezenwa, popularly known as E-money, to kidnap many rich people from the South-East, especially in Imo and Abia states. However, Asiegbuelam, 32, lamented that despite aiding Ezenwa to perpetrate the crimes, he did not make him rich. Ezenwa, a dismissed police corporal, was killed in January 2018 during a gun duel with policemen attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Imo State Police Command when he attempted to kidnap a South-African-based Nigerian businessman in Owerri. Federal Government To Claim All Properties Owned By Dead Kidnapper, E-Money

A Federal High Court sitting in Owerri, Imo State, has granted an order of interim forfeiture of properties confiscated from a billionaire kidnapper, Collins Ezenwa, alias, E-money, who was killed during an exchange of gunfire with policemen attached to the Imo State Command, in January 2018, to Nigeria Police Force. The court also ordered that any person who has an interest or has any property belonging to the late kidnapper in his or her possession should appear before it within the next 30 days to show cause why the property should not be forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria. Police confiscate 13 houses, 13 vehicles of #EMoney

Operatives of the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, IRT, have recovered 13 buildings, 10 cars, two tippers, a trailer truck and three AK-47 rifles from a notorious kidnapper, Collins Ezenwa, aka E-Money. E-Money, a dismissed policeman that had been terrorising Imo, Abia, Enugu and Rivers states, was killed during a gunfight with the Police from Imo State Police Command, last year, in Owerri, where he had gone to kidnap a businessman. He was said to have acquired several property with proceeds from his exploits in kidnapping and robbery in the South-East and South-South states.
