Fulham midfielder, Kevin McDonald reveals chronic kidney disease battle as he prepares for transplant

Fulham midfielder, Kevin McDonald has revealed he is putting his career on hold to have a transplant amid a long battle with chronic kidney disease. The Scotland international has been suffering from kidney disease for around 14 years now and has been under doctors' orders throughout a playing career which has included 500 professional appearances  Dundee, Sheffield United, and Wolves. He also made five international caps for Scotland. The 32-year-old is now planing for a transplant in April after friends and family members put themselves forward to offer a replacement kidney. A man, 71, has shocked jurors after it was revealed that he tricked a disabled man so he could rape him more than 100 times. Christopher Fallon, 71, abused the victim with learning difficulties two or three times a week by pretending he was giving him intimate massages to treat his chronic condition. Fallon befriended the younger man and won his trust, then he began raping him. Plymouth Crown Court heard how the predator could have raped the younger man up to 150 times over four years. But the victim’s disabilities meant he would not have always realised what was going on. Baba Suwe Admitted To LUTH Over Chronic Diabetes

Veteran Nollywood actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, has been admitted at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). The 60-year-old who is currently battling chronic diabetes was taken to the hospital in Idi Araba, Lagos State on Friday. Report say the actor’s admission was facilitated by the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and also assisted by the Federal Ministry of Health. The news of his illness broke out a few days ago leading the actor to get tremendous support form his colleagues in the movie industry and also well-meaning Nigerians.
