Two Children Shot by Angry Driver after Throwing Snowballs at Passing Cars

Two children, ages 12 and 13, were shot by an angry driver after they threw snowballs at passing cars in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Milwaukee police said the pair were playing with a group of children on Saturday evening before the shooting occurred. While they were hurling snowballs at passing cars, one of the snowballs struck a white Toyota, and the driver of the car shot at the children. Police found the 12-year-old girl and the 13-year-old boy minutes apart. Cars On Nigerian Roads Hit 11.8 Million In One Year

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in its latest figures indicated that there were about 11.8 million licensed cars on Nigeria’s roads as at Q4 2018, compared to 11.6 million in the corresponding period of 2017. According to the report, Nigeria witnessed a 2 per cent increase in the number of licensed cars Year- on -Year; that is between Q4 of 2018 and Q4 2017, respectively. The NBS report disclosed that as at Q4 2018, commercial cars recorded the highest numbers of licensed cars on Nigeria’s roads, having made up 41% of the total cars. Operatives of the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, IRT, have recovered 13 buildings, 10 cars, two tippers, a trailer truck and three AK-47 rifles from a notorious kidnapper, Collins Ezenwa, aka E-Money.
