Armstrong Oko-Flex Nearly Makes Celtic Debut With AirPods In His Ears

    Celtic youngster Armstrong Oko-Flex nearly made his professional debut for the club with AirPods in his ears. The Hoops were taking on Hibernian on Monday evening and wanted to inject something fresh up front. Oko-Flex was called from the bench and was ready to make his Scottish Premiership debut. But the 18-year-old still had his AirPods in while putting his shirt on and he was seconds away from taking to the pitch with them still in. It's likely he was using them to communicate with members of the Celtic coaching staff who weren't in attendance at the game. Arsenal Tell This Nigerian Midfielder To Leave The Club

Nigerian youngster George Okoye has been released by Premier League side Arsenal. The player was not offered a scholarship by the Gunners ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign. Okoye attended Dagenham Park Church of England School and used to play for Sunday team Freestylers before he was recommended to The Gunners. Playing as an attacking midfielder, Okoye was a member of the Arsenal U15 side at the prestigious Marveld Tournament in 2017. Other members of the squad of Nigerian descent were England U17 star Miguel Azeez, Mazeed Ogungbo, Armstrong Oko-Flex, Ovie Ejeheri and Malcolm Ebiowei.
