Jeremy Doku: Blow for Ghana as Anderlecht starlet earns maiden senior Belgium call-up

The Black Stars' hopes of winning over the teenager is nearly over following his invitation to the Red Devils Ghana target Jeremy Doku has earned his first call-up to Belgium's senior national side, nearly ending the West Africans' chances of winning over the teenager. The 18-year-old has been in impressive form since breaking through at Anderlecht two seasons ago (2018-19). His exploits have not only caught the attention of Belgium who have already capped the winger at U15, 16, 17 and 21 levels, but also new Ghana coach CK Akonnor who recently held a meeting with the player to discuss a potential switch of international allegiance.

Boko Haram Releases new Video Showing the Execution of a Soldier and a Police Officer

Boko Haram has released a new video showing the execution of a Nigerian soldier and policeman. SaharaReporters reports that the video dated Thursday, June 11, 2020, was made by a branch of Boko Haram that has sworn allegiance to the Islamic State West Africa. The video showed the two security officers, kneeling in a field, and introducing themselves before two masked men pointed guns at them. Ademola Lookman Takes Final Decision on Playing for Nigeria, England

  Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) technical assistant, Tunde Adelakun, has confirmed that Ademola Lookman, has applied to FIFA to switch his allegiance to the Super Eagles from England. Lookman was born in England to Nigerian parents and has played for English youth teams. An explosion rocked Sri Lanka as Sri Lankan soldiers battled suspects linked to the multiple bombings carried out on Easter Sunday.
