Obinwanne Okeke, the owner of Invictus Group, who was arrested in the United States last year for computer-based fraud, has pleaded guilty to $11 million (N4.2 billion) fraud. A nursing mother has been arrested after she stabbed her three kids to death. The 28-year-old mother from Basud in Camarines Norte, Philippines, hacked her children, ages 5, 1 year/8 months old, and 4 months old, to death at their home. Doctor tests positive for Coronavirus in Bayelsa

An unnamed doctor has tested positive for Coronavirus in Bayelsa state. Governor Duoye Diri made the announcement during a meeting with members of Bayelsa state COVID-19 Task Force. The doctor who works at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Yenagoa was admitted at a private hospital before testing positive for the virus. Enugu Confirms 9-year-old as New Case of Coronavirus

The Enugu State Government on Friday morning, confirmed a 9-year-old as the new case of Coronavirus in the state. According to the State’s commissioner for health Hon. Obi Emmanuel Ikechukwu, the 9-year-old is a contact of the fourth case reported in the state, who had a "positive" travel history. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 9, and the total number of active cases to 7. 101 Inmates in Military Prison test Positive for Coronavirus in DR Congo

The Democratic Republic of Congo's health ministry has announced that 101 inmates have tested positive for Coronavirus in the N'dolo military prison in Kinshasa. “Fifty-six (additional) people in Ndolo military prison were confirmed with COVID-19” on Saturday, while forty-three cases had been diagnosed at the prison on Thursday and Friday," a statement said. According to the authorities, only three infected inmates have been admitted to a hospital outside the facility. Six inmates are under close supervision in the prison while the rest have mild symptoms. It was also revealed that three wings of the prison were disinfected on Monday. With the new figures, there are 682 confirmed cases of COVID-19  with 34 deaths in  the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Nigerian Man Faces Jail Sentence after Spitting into Policewoman’s Eye in England

A Nigerian man is facing a "significant" prison sentence after he spat blood in a police officer's eye. Temisan Oritsejafor, 41, attacked PC Napier who was arresting him after he assaulted his neighbour. Police were called to his flat in Wyken, Coventry, on April 18 after he became abusive towards neighbour Alison Osborne.
