Big Brother Naija housemate, Ahneeka who was just evicted from the house alongside her partner Angel has just spoken out about her relationship with him (Angel) and Rico while in the house. In her chat with show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Ahneeka said she was not surprised about the eviction. “I am happy to be here. “We are more than partners, just friends. “But I was angel’s anchor in the house,” Ahneeka said On her relationship with Rico, she said their relationship was pressured because they were strategic partners and nothing more. “Rico is a nice guy but his feelings did not seem genuine to me.” On her plans after the house, she said she would be going back to being a TV presenter and a model.

Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Cee-C on Sunday professed love for fellow housemate, Tobi. In a letter she wrote to Tobi before the eviction show, Cee-C said, “I love you” regardless of how “many times you put me up for eviction” and make the “world thinks I’m troublesome.” The letter reads, “You don’t expect people to understand who you really are, regardless I love you. Super Eagles To Play Cameroon On Sept. 1 In Uyo – NFF

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have announced the Super Eagles will take on Cameroon in a 2018 World Cup qualifier on September 1 in Uyo to put to rest confusion over the match day and venue. World football governing body FIFA scheduled the match in Uyo for August 31, but NFF spokesman Ademola Olajire said the game will be played on September 1. “The match will be played on Friday, September 1, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo,” Olajire disclosed Wednesday. The return leg is now slated for September 5 in Yaounde. Nigeria lead the qualifying group for Russia 2018 with six points after two rounds of matches, while Cameroon are second on two points. Zambia and Algeria have won a point each. The overall winners of the group will qualify for the World Cup.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino wants to introduce video assistant referees (VAR) at next year’s World Cup following a “successful” trial at the Confederations Cup. VAR, which involves two assistant referees watching the action remotely while making the match referee aware of any mistakes, has been used in recent weeks at the Confederations Cup in Russia.
