Real Madrid captain and Spanish defender, Sergio Ramos who will be having star-studded guests at his wedding this weekend has reportedly not invited his former team-mate and friend, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The defender will marry television presenter Pilar Rubio at the famous Seville cathedral this weekend.

According to Marca, Ramos and Rubio have invited 500 guests to what is being seen as a contender for ‘wedding of the year’ in Spain. The couple have also booked AC/DC to perform at the party following the ceremony.

David Beckham and wife Victoria are reported to be attending, as is Barcelona rival Gerard Pique with his long-term partner Shakira. But Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be missing on the list.

The wedding will also be attended by a host of familiar faces, including Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and club president Florentino Perez.

Ronaldo’s absence is reported to stem from a fall-out between the two players after he left Rea Madrid last summer to join Juventus, according to Daily Mail.

Since he left for Juventus after winning three successive Champions League titles with Real Madrid, the friendship between Ronaldo and Ramos have not been the same.

Mertesacker And Ozil Clash After Arsenal Defeat

Published

By

Arsenal assistant coach Per Mertesacker was seen in a heated exchange with Mesut Ozil at the end of last night’s defeat at Brighton.

The loss means Arsenal are on their worst run of form for 42 YEARS and the German pair were clearly not happy about it.

The defeat means the Gunners have not won in nine and the last time they went ten without a win was way back in March 1977.

Goals from Adam Webster and Neal Maupay either side of Alexandre Lacazette’s equaliser meant the North Londoners slip to tenth in the table.

And the angry feeling was clearly too much for Ozil as he was seen shouting and gesticulating at his former international and club team-mate.

Meet the boxer who quit his job to help AJ prepare for Ruiz Jr rematch

He quit his job, left his fiancee for three months, wrote to Eddie Hearn and got his friends to bombard Anthony Joshua’s team on social media… how a carpet cleaner from Kentucky became AJ’s sparring partner

*Timothy Moten has studied Andy Ruiz Jnr for years and adopted a similar style
*The American offered to spar Anthony Joshua before his shock loss to Ruiz Jnr
*Moten went to extreme lengths to contact AJ’s team to get in camp for rematch
*He even quit his job as a carpet cleaner after being invited in for sparring with AJ

Moten had studied Ruiz Jnr closely since 2012 and watched countless videos of his previous fights, trying to unlock the secrets of his success against men significantly bigger than himself, and picking up tricks of the trade here and there. As a squat heavyweight with his own ambitions, it seemed like a productive way to spend his spare time more than anything else.

But when the Mexican was announced as Joshua’s late replacement for Jarrell Miller following his failed drugs test, he heard the sound of opportunity knocking.

‘I just thought at the time, ‘I have got to get into camp. No matter what it takes, I have to get into camp’,’ he tells Sportsmail.

By the time Ruiz stepped in to save the show as it was described, Joshua had just four weeks left to adapt to a fighter whose physique and style was considerably different to Miller’s.
