South African President, Ramaphosa Condemns Stealing Food Provided For The Poor

The South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has totally condemned the food packages allegedly to be stolen which is meant to provide relief for the poor during the coronavirus lock down.

A statement released by the President affairs report which are “disturbing and disgusting” adding that the individuals involved in the hoarding, selling or diverting of food aid would be dealt with “harshly”. “Over the past three weeks, we have been confronted with distressing images of desperate people clamouring for food parcels at distribution centres and of community protests against food shortages.” He added that the government will improve and increase the welfare packages as the lock down continues.
