A proud daughter whose father recently became the first black District Attorney of Fort Bend in the United States has shared his story and it’s inspiring.

My Dad made a 1.9 GPA in high school and was told that he wouldn’t be anything. He became an attorney. He was doubted again as many told him that he wouldn’t be district attorney because he’s black. Now he has been elected as Fort Bend’s FIRST BLACK DISTRICT ATTORNEY!!
