France Captain, Renard Scores Worst Own Goal Ever In Women’s World Cup

This is the horrifying moment Wendie Renard scores a shocking own goal which is being branded the “worst ever”.

The France captain – given the nickname because of her dominant performances reminiscent of the Liverpool centre-back.

She got distraught after scoring a sitter own goal to level the scores at 1-1 for Norway in the Women’s World Cup.

Renard was attempting to control a square ball from the left when she somehow put it into her own net in the 54th minute.

And in the process she became the first player to score an own goal for her country at a Women’s World Cup.
