Adeboye reveals message he got after the death of his son that made it easier to deal with the grief
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has revealed how he was able to overcome his grief over the death of his son.
Pastor Dare Adeboye died in May 2021.
Speaking on Friday, April 1, during the church's April 2022 Holy Ghost Service, Adeboye recalled a message he got from a spiritual daughter while grieving that turned the tide.
Adeboye, while speaking on the theme of "Signs and Wonders", said children are proof that God is a Miracle Worker, a Covenant-Keeper, a Burden-Bearer and the Defence of the Defenceless
He said: "When I lost my son last year, then I was deeply in sorrow, I got a text from one of my daughters that suddenly turned the tide.
What she wrote was simply this: "Daddy, let God carry you."
He added that God is a Carrier, who carries burden, sorrow and problems provided one has the disposition of a child.
