Lagos Stadium: Business Owners Lament Seven-day Eviction Notice

Business owners at the National Stadium, Lagos are lamenting the seven-day eviction notice given to them by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to vacate the premises. Dare on June 20 had given illegal occupants of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja 25 days to vacate the facility, while legal occupants of the Lagos stadium were handed a seven-day notice on Monday, and are expected to evacuate the premises on August 24. A naked man was filmed this morning performing a mini-workout on a packed London train while other passengers pretended not to notice. The naked man was seen standing on a Piccadilly Line train near Ealing this morning  with nothing on his body except a backpack. He then lifted up the backpack he was holding and began to do five bicep curls, before turning around when the train pulled into Acton Town. It was only then that a fellow passenger confronted him, saying: "Hello mate, are you okay? Come off the train now." He got off the train then. Watch the video below.

Workers in Osun are to begin a three-day warning strike on Wednesday to press home their demands, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports. This warning was contained in a notice issued on Tuesday by the Joint Negotiating Council, Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress, Oyo State chapter. A Chinese man was so obsessed with his phone that he fell into a pit and injured himself while using it, but even at that, he still refused to put it down and continued playing on the phone as he waited for help. Rescuers who arrived at the scene to help the man out of the 13ft deep hole were stunned to find the man still playing on his phone even though he was in extreme pain after suffering a fractured kneecap. Piers Morgan has told how he was saved from cancer after an eagle-eyed viewer got in touch when she noticed something unusual about his appearance. The Good Morning Britain host was contacted by a Melanoma expert when she spotted a small blemish on his chest. Gillian Nuttall, founder of Melanoma UK, urged him to seek medical advice. The 52 year-old dad-of-three said Gillian emailed him to say: "'Piers, at the risk of sounding like a lunatic, I'm just watching your programme and there's a blemish on your chest. Have you had it checked?" Following Gillian's warning, Piers visited a leading dermatologist, according to the Daily Star, who then cut out the blemish. The Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) has called for the modification of the public notice issued by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) in its attempt at enforcing the Executive Order No. 001 of 2017.
