The Nigerian Army has said that most of the businesses looted or destroyed in Lekki, Ajah, Sangotedo and nearby places were owned by people of Igbo extraction. Brigadier-General Ahmed Ibrahim Taiwo stated this in his testimony at the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Enquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS related abuses and other matters. The Army is testifying following its invitation by the panel in the wake of the October 20 shootings at the Lekki Toll Gate. Nigerian Twitter users have taken to the platform to mourn an EndSARS protester, Oke, who was allegedly killed today, October 21.   Oke, a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta, was reportedly shot in the neck three hours after he tweeted "Nigeria will not end me"     His heartbroken girlfriend, Derin, confirmed his death on her page. She shared photos of them posing together and then wrote: "We had forever to go Oke." Lagos Shuts Down All State Owned Broadcast Stations

The Lagos State Government has shut down all its broadcast stations, which include Lagos Television, Eko FM, Radio Lagos and Traffic Radio. It was gathered that the decision was taken as a safety measure since irate youths had started to attack public and private facilities in reaction to the shooting of unarmed End SARS protesters at Lekki by soldiers on Tuesday night. It was learnt that hoodlums were around the compound accommodating the state-owned broadcast stations. Earlier, youths had invaded Television Continental at Ikosi, Ketu and set vehicles ablaze. The attack forced the station to go off air.

The protesters in their hundreds are preventing movement in and out of the busiest airport in the country. Since the protest began 11 days ago, this is the first time that the protesters would disrupt activities inside the airport. They have been blocking roads around the airport, worsening the traffic logjam in Ikeja and its environs but this is the first time that protesters will march into the airport.. Many passengers were stranded inside one of the halls at the airport. The Lagos State Government has directed all pupils/students in public and private schools to stay at home following the tension generated by the anti- SARS protests. Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, who issued the directive today, said the safety of the pupils/students, parents and all staff working in schools is paramount at this critical period. The Lagos State Government has lost at least N234m to the closure of tollgates as the #EndSARS protests on the Island enters its 9th day, The PUNCH has learnt. However, the state has continued to generate money from adverts at the toll plazas. The figure was obtained from the daily and monthly targets set for the tollgates by the government, which owns the tollgates, which are being managed by the Lekki Concession Company. A Lagos State commissioner, who wished to remain anonymous, told our correspondent that the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge was expected to generate about N10m daily, while the Admiralty Circle Plaza along the Lekki-Epe Expressway was not expected to generate less than N16.6m a day.

Comedian Lasisi Elenu and Wofaifada reveal their side mirrors were stolen at Lagos #EndSARS protest ground (video)

Comedian, Lasisi Elenu and actress/comedian Wofaifada, have stated that the side mirrors of their cars were stolen at the End SARS protest ground in Lagos.   In the video he shared, Lasisi said he arrived at protest ground and parked his car somewhere so he could join the protest. On his return, he found out his side mirrors had been stolen.
